Brexit

I'm not an expert, but from what I've found read, the referendeum is totally non binding and could be ignored. Someone could try to sue, and might even succeed, but they'd have to use a different argument to 'you didn't obey the referendum'. It'd have a hell of a lot of political backlash, though, May was firmly on the Remain team until the vote came in and the Leave team immediately turned to infighting (they are Tories, after all).

There were a number of theories that the Lords could stop Brexit, but as time goes on, those seem to have been forgotten. Despite the fact there's still no plan, it looks like it's going ahead.
