Weekly Weigh-In, Perverse Body Edition

Weekly Target Rate: 1.45 lbs
Weekly Average: 1 lb gain
I got a Fitbit and started using it, as well as diligent tracking via MyNetDiary, keeping my intake in the suggested range, and started doing DailyBurn again. Result, I gained a pound.
Are we surprised? No we are not. It's just more of this same "you get the exact opposite of what you want no matter what you do" pattern that I have been hitting again and again. Well fuck that noise, I'm pushing on.
Whenever this happens, someone tells that it was the building of muscle instead of loss of fat. For once, that may actually be true. My muscles had atrophied noticeably, and I am still sore from the workouts. That's certainly the silver lining I'm going to try to take away from it.
