Harry Potter and the Hype From Hell

Laurie's got her copy from Amazon and she's happy as a bug in a rug.

The key difference between the Harry Potter hype and the Matrix hype, is that I like Harry Potter. So I find this over-the-top hype to be amusing, rather than annoyingly intrusive.

Arbitrary? Well, yeah. But hell, I'm an arbitrary guy.

I have not watched the Harry Potter movies, read the books, etc primarily because of the hoopla, but then again, I'm anti-trend/indie movie/avant-garde/etc. The only book/movie/media creation that I have HAD to see was the South Park movie...(grin)...MLD
