In other news, my dad is in the hospital with some kind of blood poisoning. :P He's not in any danger, apparently, just feels like crap. Laurie and I are going to check in on him on the way home tonight. My dad is thin-skinned (in the literal sense, i.e., his skin is not as thick as most people's) and he's constantly covered with scratches and abrasions ... so probably he stood within ten feet of a sharp piece of metal and pffft!. I hope he feels better soon! He's had a lot to put up with on the health front, lately. He's not exactly young these days ... seventy-eight if my memory serves me right.

Sorry to hear your Dad is having a go of it. My dad is also in his 70's and is doing kinda ok more or less too.

Nod in the Info Minister - I suspect he'll be one of the few ex-Iraqi .gov guys to actually come out of the way not only alive, but reasonably well. \

Now that Sienfeld is off the air, maybe we'll have the Saeed Show on Fox, right after O'Reilly, sounds like a hit to me ;-P

My mother has a similar skin condition; it's genetic, though. She's missing all but one layer of skin so things that would normally just bruise you and I or cause a small scratch really tear her up.

      This is late in coming, because I had to reformat my hard drive last week and haven't checked LiveJournal in some time, but I'm quite hoping everything turns out well. Your dad is a lot sillier than mine.
