KungFusion
Jun. 30th, 2003 02:57 pmI am debating putting the Kung Fu on hold for July, August, and September, for a few reasons:
1) It's Too Damn Hot. It really strains my endurance to go to class in the summer weather -- not in a "build up and get stronger" way, but in a "have a stroke and wake up unable to speak" way.
2) Cons, Training, Leasing, and Crunch Days. Given the way I've been missing classes with my regular set of activities, the chances of me getting to any classes at all look bleak given how busy the next few months will be -- so maybe I'd be better off to not spend that $52/mo for a while.
3) I Need to Relax. I've been pretty dang stressed lately. And as much as I enjoy the Kung Fu, it can be pretty draining.
Of course, the problem is that I love doing the Kung Fu, and I don't want to interrupt things now that I'm finally getting into the more advanced part of my first belt training. Gah. There's also the fact that I want to keep on exercising -- I really like the new, slimmer me, and I don't want anything to jeopardize that.
