I didn't get anything done last night 'cause I was in a funk and retreated into Escape From Monkey Island. Oh well, can't be productive all the time, you'll burn yourself out.

I've been looking at upcoming expenses, tasks, and general strip-related stuff, and it's a bit daunting. Besides Dragon*Con coming up (a good $1000 con, ouch), and the fact that sometime in the next 12 months I'm going to need a new computer, I have my eyes on a Prismacolor 144 Color Marker Set, which is ~$300. AnthroCon paid for itself nicely and made a boatload of money besides, but most of that money needs to go towards paying back the cash outlay for merchandise.

I have wanted to auction some stuff off on Furbid, original art and/or commissions, but I've already got a backlog of stuff I need to get done! Even with taking off the month of August from the strip, I'm going to be cranking to get Orange Alert done and get my websites revamped.

To that end, I've got to prioritize. The book is more urgent than the website; I think, just for my own peace of mind, I should make the backlog of commissions more urgent than the website, too. I am sick of having them hanging over my head, and in future I'm going to be extremely careful about what I take on so I don't end up in the same situation again.

I did see it briefly on my way out the door this morning, yes, thanks! I will probably not be able to get there tonight, but I do want to get to one sometime in the next few weeks. I'll send back an e-mail tonight, if that's okay. :)

Sounds to me that in order to do this both SJ and NeverNever have to stay on the backburner. Not like we readers care --- you're that good as to not lose any readers :)
