1.) *blush!*

2.) Gaming was a success! New Guy Ken seems quite cool and jumped right in, and seemed to have a good time. Laurie was also in attendance, meaning we had four, count 'em FOUR players plus myself! It's been a long time since I ran a game for a group that big! I started a new, vaguely-Arthurian sort of game using 3.5e and just because I've been wanting to use one, tossed them against an assassin vine right off the bat. It was close -- New Guy Ken's monk almost didn't make it past his first session, but they managed to beat it! That's not easy for a first level party, particularly when they're rolling badly. Fortunately, the assassin vine was also rolling badly.

3.) Azriphale got my message and responded, so I'll put the Gnorman pic into the mail for him forthwith! Tomorrow I expect to finish the Mopsy pic for Lux Veritas ... I love making progress!

4.) I have got to do my Bowflex tomorrow. It's been a week!

That all depends, what is the probability of being able to make a GOOD roll? =P

At first level... its usually something fairly annoying like 16+ on a d20. :/

So far, I like 3.5. The changes aren't that big, really, it's just that there's a lot of little ones. The basic game engine hasn't changed ... it's just that a lot of the surface details have been shifted ever-so-slightly for more better gaming fung shui. ;)

I'm glad your gaming group is working out, Gneech. At least someone I know gets it to work.

Say, have you ever looked at Ironclaw? It's a furry RPG, and though I know you're in tight with D&D you may want to give it a gander. You're more into the role-playing than the hack'n'slash, and the Ironclaw system nearly requires that you role-play your character, rather than just roll dice.

I have a copy of Ironclaw and I'd love to play it sometime, but I have come to the conclusion that I probably couldn't run a furry game ... and since I tend to be the GM, this is a problem. :)

-The Gneech <-- would prefer Furry Pirates, tho

Mmmmm. Furry Pirates. :> With art by Terrie Smith. *drools and hugs his own copy* What about Jadeclaw, TG? Let your gaming group get their Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee on? I'd /really/ like to play Jadeclaw myself. It would be nifty. :>

So, are you familiar with the system? If so, I've got a geeky question about it that I'd like to email you.

Er, me or Rhanlav, familiar with Ironclaw or Furry Pirates?

-The Gneech, or not

Er, yeah. Whoops. I'm at work; my brain is disengaged.

What I meant to ask was if you (Gneech) were familiar the the system (Ironclaw).

Sorry about that!

1) Aha! So that's where I'm getting all the traffic from! :)

2) And then Eliot came in whining that he was ready to play, but you sent him out to wait for the pizza instead?

3) You're just crankin' those out now! Waydigo!

4) Yes, yes! Bowflex! *Thumps you gently with one of the smaller bows.*
