Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock...
Apr. 11th, 2002 10:04 pmToday was slightly better at work today; we had another person on hand and ran things more efficiently.
Unfortunately, the moment I got home, I passed out again. Woke up when Laurie got home, and we puttered around a little until it was time for my counselor appt.
While I was out at his office, waiting for the appt. to start, I managed to remember about 85% of my Siu Lim Tau, which pleased me. :) I'm pretty sure I'm still leaving a hole or two in my routine, which I'll check from the book tomorrow if I get a chance. But I got through a lot more of it than I've been able to in the past couple of weeks.
Yesterday was a rather important milestone, which I utterly forgot because I've been so distracted by the job situation: it was the 15th anniversary of my first date with Laurie. We went to a concert of classical music at the Richmond Opera House, which I'd received free tickets for from the VCU Honors Program. We'd known each other for a few months, and we were pretty much together at that point, it was just our first "formal date" type date. It was 1987, and I was 17 years old. How time flies ... and how things change. :)
I'll have to try to take her out someplace nice on Sunday. Maybe Red Lobster; I should have my tips for the week by then.
In the meantime, it's back to bed for me. Thank goodness I don't go in to work until 11:00 tomorrow ... it'll feel like such a luxury!
G'nite, everyone.
