*ahem

Nevermind.

Anyway, off to work pretty much all day today. However, I managed to get in some weight lifting this morning (yay), and I'll have my SJ notebook with me to work on some more draft strips on my lunch break.

Tonight and tomorrow, my focus will be on the job hunt; Wednesday, I will draw the SJ strips for next week and work on getting my sh*t together for Anthrocon, since the deadline is rapidly approaching.

Then, it's back to work Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun...

I'm glad I have the job; it's keeping me solvent. But I'll be even gladder when I have a better one.

Took me years to find a good job 8 to 5, but still...if I was to hit the lottery, I'd retire. Means more time for the things I like to do, not just what my bosses like.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you at AnthrCon Gneech...LK has good things to say about you. Mawarra looks forward to buying you a round if you want and talking pub stories.

On a lighter note tormenting Torix in AIM chat by whispering your name to him is fun.

P.S. Squirting him with a water pistol filled with Chibi juice makes him flame up and burn quite nicely too.

I take it the ?? is about Torix? He goes by another name on your board, and is frightened to death by someone saying "The Gneech" to him.
If you still don't know ask LKCMSL.

I know..LK says your a great person and very humorous. I believe him, your comic is one of my favorites and if you remember Mawarra did name his pub in the Napping Cat's Dream "The Watering Hole" in honor of your comic strips bar. Heh

The "something something" is
"... On the Starship Enterprise, under Captain Kirk!"

It's been a decade or so since I last heard it, but I've got a pretty good memory for such nonsense. ;) Now if I could only remember the important stuff...

Let's see -- 1993 was the last time I heard a Doctor Demento show, although most of my recollection of his show comes from ten or fifteen years before that. He's been around a long time.

I just found out, a few days ago, that Billy Mumy (Will Robinson of the television series "Lost in Space") was one of the duo Barnes and Barnes of 'Fish Heads' fame. Who'da thunk it?

Also, I think it's "Boldly going forward 'cause we can't find reverse!"

(Edit: I've noticed over the past few days a tendency by LJ to drop the last few characters of a post.)

You know, I've never heard an actual radio broadcast of the show. I just compensate by buying the collections whenever I find them :) So far, I've gotten the 20th, 30th (on cd) and volume 4 of the Vinyl series of song collections. :)
