Woohoo! Done, done well (if I do say so myself), and done a week before deadline! Could anything possibly be more gratifying to an artist?

Well, yeah, accolades and tons of money, I suppose, but three out of five ain't bad atall!

In case you're wondering, I'm talking about my conbook image for Further Confusion 2004. The theme is "The Great Outdoors," and to that end, I present: Snowbunny Tiff!

Feedback welcome! =)

Careful, I've got a North American Blapping Trout right here, and I'm not afraid to use it!

Lookin' Good!

"Color Rules" is Right!

How *did* you color this one? I can't tell if it's markers or Photoshop...?

Photoshop, with extensive use of the Wacom tablet and the airbrush tool. :) I was originally planning to do this one with markers, but having done it in PShop, I'm glad I didn't, it would have been beyond my current level of skill.

I may attempt to do a markers version some time in the not-too-distant future, tho.

Tiger Snow Bhhhuuuuny!!!!! :-D

Poor Leonard has the same opinion of snow I do - it's best experienced from the comfort of one's living room on TV :-)

You got a larger version of that excellent image handy John? I suspect the shrunk down flavor doesn't quite do it justice.

Schweeeet picture John, tnx!!

Hah! Very nice. The use of varying levels of focus works very well here, and I like the composition.

Those trees in the background look surprisingly good! Too. ];-)

The ruff on Tiffany's jacket is just right. Good details, and good expressions as always; serene in the scene versus chill on the hill.

Hee ... all those years of watching Bob Ross paint "happy little trees" paid off. ;)

Thanks!

Hey Gneech! Some good news. I won't be at FC this time around. So, if Vince donates a drawing for the Charity Auction, you can bid on it with confidence.

Yeah, confidence that somebody else will outbid me instead. ;) Thanks for the heads-up, tho! ;)

Possibly. But perhaps they might not be as vehement about bidding as I. :D
