Puttering around on my current project at work, periodically looking for e-mail (nope, none yet) and checking my LJ friends list (low-key chit-chat, mostly) ... I'm bored.

I have a request from somebody for some advice on how to get into graphic design, and I really should answer them ... but what to say?
