Well, congratulate me! For the first time since the 1980s, I have bought pants in the NOT "big-and-tall" section of the store. :) Specifically, I have now reduced to the point where I can fit into 44x32 Levi 550's, with approximately the level of snugness that I felt when first wearing 46s.

It may not sound like a big deal, but it is to me: the 46s were three steps down from the 52s I was wearing back in 2000 as it was. :)

I particularly like using jeans as a reduct-ometer, because they don't have any give. When I slacked off on exercise after my back injury, the increasing snugness of the 46s was a good motivator to get me started again. ;) Trading down to 44s just raises the bar another notch.

The daily pushups and crunches and the dietary changes are a major factor here, I suspect. I'm jazzed. :)

Anyway, now it's off to gaming. Catcha later!

I like jeans for the same reason. Mine are currently so big around the waist they need a tuck or two sewn into them. Simtra needs 34s now but refuses to buy them so the 40s look awful. What is it with butt crack syndrome anyhow?

Congrats!

Yay! You get a star!

Yee HAW! :)

Great work, Boss!

I'm working on something similar and am just about to be able to tighten my belt a notch. :)

Yay! Diets and exercise!

Keep it up, Boss! Keep it up! :D

Congratulations Gneech. It has take you a lot of hard work and dedication to reach this point. Seriously. You spent YEARS getting that big, and it will take a long time to undo it, but you are showing definite measurable process. It's a big project, and kudos to you for not only undertaking it, but sticking with it to the point where you're seeing results.
