My bud HantaMouse says he wants to go to AC, so we'll probably share a room. I like Hanta, I really do, but for being a mouse, he snores like a squadron of A-10 "tank killers" hovering over the hotel. Fortunately, I have my own set of earplugs now -- and apparently, will have use for them!

I wonder if the elevators will work this year...

As one who has been nicknamed "Buzz Saw" by my friends, may I quietly suggest that your friend see a doctor? Snoring is NOT normal, and *both* my parents and I have a condition called "sleep apnea." When my father (the first diagnosed) asked his doctor, "What's the worse that can happen?" the doctor replied, "You could stop breathing." My dad took his point.
If your friend is overweight, that can be a contributing factor (in my case, I get it from my folks) and loosing weight can mitigate the symptoms.

Could also be a case of a deviated septum. A friend of my family finally had hers corrected (they have to break and reset it) when she started to wake *herself* up with ther snoring.

Well, according to Kage, one main elevator and the service elevator should be completely overhauled by con time. The wait will be abysmally slow, but not as bad as no elevators at all.

I just hope I can get a room on the 3rd floor like I did last year. ^.^;

Of this there is no doubt!! And he's only gotten worse over time, as I discovered at last year's DragonCon. But he comes by it honestly...our father snored like a herd of freight trains himself...frequently woke himself up with his snoring.
