And that is I don't get it! Because I don't pay attention to close detail, so when I had to learn kanji, i had a problem since I have to look at everything! OH, i almost forgot, is that a gun katie has? and where did she get it? hmmm...?
Oops. Maybe that's the wrong thing to say when it's Kung Fu. Hope it goes well anyway. If it runs in the pride you'll do fine seeing my sister passed her test.
(And you do know, of course, that you're not supposed to enjoy anything about "OHMSS", according to true Bond movie fans, because it's the Macbeth of Bond movies...)
Good Luck, Gneech-sama! May you rise to the occasion like a young "Mr. Incredible" -- who shares the same theme music, at least in the trailer I've seen.
Ah -- just looked at the current trailer -- the music is no longer Track 7 from the "On Her Masjesty's Secret Service" soundtrack. Some copyright holder recognized it, perhaps? ];-)
And what's this about OHMSS -- just because it's the only Bond movie with an actual martial artist (and Bruce Lee student) playing Bond? And Diana Rigg!
And Satchmo singing "We Have All The Time In The World"... "It's quite all right, officer." What a sad love song.
What's not to like?
But back to martial arts; my guess is that The Gneech is continuing to understate his own skills, and that he will succeed quite handily.
Exactly what it is about OHMSS, I can't say. I personally loved the movie. But for some odd reason it has earned an odd rep in the minds of some Bond fans. Most of whom seem to think that Lazenby actually remarking that he wasn't "the other fellow" was a no-no. (Please don't ask me why that should matter, such things are beyond me...)
I wasn't understating, I did need to practice! And so I practiced. :)
I'm off to class now, but I'd like to mention that lythandra attended a panel at Dragon*Con last year with Mr. Lazenby, who discussed how he fell into -- and back out of -- the role of Bond. Interesting story!
