It's times like this I wish I had a laptop, so I could write and loaf in front of the TV at the same time.

Depending on how powerful a laptop you need, I can get you a refurbished Dell for as little as $300... (which would get you something in the Pentium-II 300-366MHz range, with at least 64Mb of memory and a 5-10Gb hard drive.) $500-$700 if you want a P-III up in the 1GHz range with 256Mb of memory and a larger (10-30Gb) hard drive.
