What Was I Saying...?

Let's see... Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, the Bob Newhart show, Barney Miller, WKRP in Cincinnati, Taxi, The Addams Family, Cheers, The Odd Couple. These were a lot of my favorite TV from when I was in various stages of growing up, and I don't remember any of these shows overusing the stupidity ball. Must be why I liked them and like very few of the shows now. FWIW, Malcolm in the Middle doesn't seem to use the stupidity ball much. As the_gneech puts it, they use the weirdness ball.
