Don't wanna be here
I wanna sleep
To be Rip Van Winkle
who needs sheep
Into slumber
wonderfully deep
I'd lay down
and gently creep
Nothing would I say
not a peep
Fatigue from me
would slowly seep
As I snore away
in a bundled heap
Ne'er to be awakened
by the alarm clock's beep
Ne'er out of bed
again to leap
The benefits of rest
I'd love to reap
But instead I must work,
so here I weep
Because I don't wanna be here
I wanna sleep

Poor Gneech! If you e-mailed me and we made contact, I could -- were we on the phone or something -- remind you how late it is! ;)

Seriously, would love to see Sakura with you. :)

And many bears are seeing Minority Report on Wednesday as well. (See my journal!)

Tom Cruise! NNOoooooooooo!!!

-The Gneech, fighting the urge to hunt Tom down and make him pay for Mission: Impossible

PS: Which parts of CCS are you most wanting to see? There's a heckuva lot! :)

Nah, MI was cool and MI2 was much cooler (thanks to John Woo). It's "Jerry MacGuire" for which he must suffer.

In the spirit of respectful disagreement, I'll try to not lash out too much at that idea. Suffice to say, I really, really liked the original Mission: Impossible and really, really hated the films. And that's all I'm going to say on the subject, because I get all frothy-frothy.

I see. Alas, I was too young when they aired on network TV to remember the old Mission Impossibles. So, lacking that comparison, I enjoyed the movies. I would have enjoyed "Hunt For Red October," too, had I not just read the book...

*Hands The Gneech a SB coffee cup with a shot of espresso in it.* Could you finish my Cappuccino with your frothyness, then? ;)

You BOTH have a point!

The original MI was much cooler than the two MI's that Tom did - the only good thing about either MI movie was in the original, when he had to glid down into the room without touching the floor and pick stuff up....

However: He *MUST* be killed for Jerry McGuire!! "It's a Moral Imperitive!" (Guess which movie THAT came from? And no, it didn't have tom in it..)

I will give him this, though: The Firm was good. But it was negated a bit by that movie he did for Kubrick, before Kubrick died....

Yes, "The Firm" was very good. I'm looking froward to a chance to see the new one. Boys night out! Woohoo!

*chuckles* yes, the new sci-fi thriller he has out promises to be a good one.

LOL! Not a Tom Cruise fan here either (give me a nice bearded Sean Connery any day), but it's a bear get-together and it's a Philip K. Dick story, so... :)

CCS: Well, the stuff I have on DVD (which works, that is) is only up to episode 12 (Sakura's Never-Ending Day). I have watched up to 11 so far -- may see #12 tonight, but apart from a miracle which will let me view those computer video things (we tried to watch on my friend Joe's laptop and it crashed after about 5 minutes -- I'd like to think it was just bad luck with that episode...), that's all I have...

Yes, well Sean Connery is a demigod of Hollywood. You're making an unfair comparison. Not that I can blame you....

Oh, that too, I suppose, but I also think Sir Sean is much cuter than Cruise. :) But then, I love bears...
