Limping Along on Impulse Power

the_gneechWell, I'm better enough to not be able to afford another 8 hours of PTB, so I'm back in the office and clearing out the backlog ... yaaay.
Last night was the first time in a long time I had a dream that I was enjoying and sad to wake from; specifically, my brain was coming up with new episodes of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie," and they were pretty good, I recall. I particularly remember there was a sketch in which Stephen Fry was swimming out in a lake, and when he comes out of the water you see he's wearing a suit and tie instead of a swimsuit.
On an unrelated note, April 20th, 2005 already? Ack! Tempus fugit, man.
I spent aaallll day yesterday getting today's strip done, and it still didn't come out the way I wanted. I'd get Leona's face right, and the arm would be wrong. I'd fix her arm, and her face was the wrong size. I'd redraw her face and it would come out looking like crap, etc. I think I redrew every panel at least twice and some of them three or four times, never once getting them all like what I had in my head.
Friends don't let friends cartoon sick. -.-
Oh well ... hopefully I'm better enough that I can get Friday's done tonight and start trying ... again ... to rebuild the buffer.
Stupid cold.
