Congratulations! You've won the 'Obscure Phrase of the Day' award! 'Dickybird'? I've heard this used to refer to male genetalia, but not as a simile for inattentiveness...origin, please?

It's just old British slang for a small bird (like a chicadee); it can also just mean any tiny, insignicant thing.
