Guy at the Hobby Shop: "Yeah, actually, we're going to be putting our Lord of the Rings miniatures line on clearance in the next week or so."

Me: "Well, well, well!"

No, I absolutely don't need more miniatures. But I don't think that's liable to stop me. I can think of at least two items from the LotR line that I decided I would only get if I could find them at a discount price. And I bet I can find more that I would be willing to buy at a discount price.

I just gotta make sure I get lythandra's berfday prezzie first. ;)

Does she ever note the price of some toy you buy for yourself, and compare it to the price of some toy/sparkly that she figures you ought to buy her? I've ahd this conversation with kheetor84:
