Unfortunately, some of the best voice actors got their voices by being smokers. It's a recurring theme. As I recall, the guy who did the main voice in Full Throttle died of lung cancer as well.

I'm stunned by his imdb list... the Supreme Being in Time Bandits. I was 8 when that came out and that was the movie we went to for my birthday party, because it looked like it'd be so cool!

Dammit! I loved his voiceover work. Never got to meet him, either. What a shame.

Can't say I'm surprised at the lung cancer thing, though; his voice had that two-packs-a-day rasp to it.
