When you heard "Jinkies" you knew Velma had figured things out and everything was about to change! A plan would be formulated, launched into wacky action, and then all would be revealed!

"Zoinks" is a great sound, but just doesn't carry the same weight of "Jinkies!"

It also sounds vaguely english, doesn't it?

"Jinkies, Holmes! I do believe I've untangled this mysterious mess!"

Incidentally, when I'm out and about, I have a clip board with scratch paper for doodling. The clip board is that see-through, pale blue and nas Scooby etched into it. and it looks like he's flipping a whirly-bird! (Finger in the ear with a circular motion swoosh!)

During times of Zoinks I use a variety of complex and colorful (and usually family friendly) expressions, Zoinks being a rare choice, but not unheard of.

Jinkies events almost always happen after a period of frustration, and the most likely sound I make is something you would expect out of a Klingon who just eviscerated someone.

Oh, and I brought my own snacks.

I would do it if the "Scooby Snack" was Scooby as a snack. :=/

I never saw the "drug angle", but I do think it is now dated and weird. I mean how did they survive? Who paid for their adventures in the "Mystery Machine". I'm sure the local law enforcement officials gave them a reward for helping, in fact they, in real life, might've gotten charged with interfering with a police investigation in some cases.

My favorite expression is "light bulb". Don't ask why, I just like to say it. :=3

Not having seen Scooby-Doo, I ended up thinking three things:

• "Zoink" is the sound for swiping something out of your friend's hands (metaphorically or literally), thus making "Zoinks" sound wrong to me, and
  
• "Jinkeys" sounds like a humorous half-cuss, which I happen to appreciate.
  
• "Would you do ..." tl;dr.
