Geeze, where did tonight go? For that matter, where did the whole first half of the week go? I feel like I'm running at full speed just to stay slightly behind. -.-

I did bow out of some freelance graphics work today ... a former LifeMinders associate wanted me to do banner ads for his new web company. It would have been a nice chunk o' change, moneywise, but there was just no way I could do it. I'm barely getting SJ out on time as it is and not making any progress whatsoever on other projects at the moment.

Oh well. If plodding is all I can do, I shall continue to plod. Maybe my pace will pick up soon; these things seem to come in waves.

In other news, I'd like to congratulate the state of New Jersey for being exactly correct on an issue and not being run by a bunch of backwards neanderthals, unlike, say, Virginia and distressingly large sections of the country. doodlesthegreat expressed my feelings very nicely on this matter: "New Jersey has become cooler than California. Cripes, when are we gonna get our heads out of our ass on this?"

Big props to New Jersey! Big middle fingers to Virginia!

BOY, do I know how that feels. I just reserved hotel rooms for the Whitman tournament next weekend... in the next town over (fifty miles away). Because all the hotels in Walla Walla are gone already. In fact, they were full up by time I received the invite two weeks ago! There's really no time to learn and do all the things I need to learn and do as coach.

I submitted the order for shirts today. Woot!

Nope. It involves a lot of speaking and arguing (formally, that is) at Whitman College.

If it were a chocolate thing, I wouldn't be able to attend-- chocolate and I don't get along anymore. =;.;=
