Republicans Blame Election Losses on Democrats

They may be on to something, there.

They claim that the Democrats have been smearing their name and generally portraying them as inept, backward and generally clueless.

They should give themselves some credit as they do a pretty good job themselves!

Imagine that, Losing because of the other team...

"Damn them Leafs, its their fault we lost, what with all that goal scoring they did"

"If only you hadn't gotten a Hole in one, its your fault I lost!"

Well, they certainly aren't going to blame it on themselves. Though after Bush got all hot-to-trot, seeing he won re-election, they did try hard to separate themselves from him...

Have the best

Eh, the Republicans are digging their own graves. I wonder if any of them ever stopped to think for a second that they might be doing more damage to themselves than the Democrats. ....
For that matter, why is this what the elections are all about? Somewhere along the way, we've gone from trying to prove who can do the best job for America, to who can make who look the worst to America. It's become a farce, unfortunately, it's a farce that we have to be part of, otherwise we become the voiceless masses forced to deal with whatever cards we're dealt. (Not that it's very far from that right now.)
Heh, and people wonder why I'm so discontent with things the way they are today. This is just another example of how the world is going to shit. We've gone from "Vote for me, because I can do this and that for our great nation!" to "so and so is an (insert slanderous insulting name or remark here)! Vote for me, 'cause I'm not like that."
We as voters don't have the right to vote for the person that will do the best job anymore, we have to vote for the person that will do the least damage.

The one word that describes this best I think, is sad.
