Well, we're working from home again this afternoon, as
lythandra is trying to shake off side effects of her new diabetes meds. It's cool and all, but given how much of it we're also planning to do next week, they may start to forget what we look like.

unseemly curiosity from a fellow sugar-pisser

Date: 2008-04-18 06:49 pm (UTC)Edited to add: Got it. it's an over-the-counter med for motion sickness called Bonine. It's available as a generic, too. My colleague says it made a huge difference.
I hope you can stick it out - my colleague says that since she's been taking Byetta she's been slowly but steadily losing weight, her blood sugar is now in the normal range after being consistently in the 150s and up, and her doctor just took her off her cholesterol medication, because she doesn't need it anymore.
I'm going to be stepping off to MY doctor to ask about it.

Cheers
