It's Alive ... That's a Start

Got the USB hub, wireless card, and Firefox back on the machine, it's a start. :) Maybe now the road to healing can begin and we can get to the business of the American people, or at least those among them who read my stuff.

I'd say we're in a race to get our machines back up. So far you're ahead in that all I've got is the OS (Win XP) on and still have to clean up a few nasty yellow splotches on the device manager. Problem with that is I'm not sure what they go to and Gateway puts the drivers on a logical HD sub directory which was on the HD that failed. Also going to the site many of the drivers are now Vista so I've some hunting to do to fix the problem. As my weekend has just become consumed with 'other issues' you'll probably have your machine up first but still...
