Actually, That Cheered Me Up Immensely

There's something just viscerally satisfying about imagining the cops sneaking up to the car at 3 a.m., where Psycho and Psycho, Jr. were snoozing their evil night away, knocking on the window, and with 40 or so police machine guns and/or shotguns staring down their faces, the arresting officer saying, "Gotcha."

It probably didn't happen that way, of course, but it pleases me to imagine that it did. :)

He is smug, isn't he? NPR reported (between radio-thon crap) on his report that he had made several phone calls, etc. Part of me hopes they torture him. Give him 10,000 paper cuts then dip him in salty lemon water or something.

Curiously, there is a connection between the sniper and The Gneech:

The sniper was inspired by ancient tales of trickster rabbits, and was very intent on getting on such tale published. Or publicized, in any event.

I am amused in a rather eccentric way, and of course I don't mean anything other than the "six degrees of separation" business.

I was hoping that he would turn out to be an isolated nutcase of no particular pattern, and that he would be Caucasian as a large and non-specific population.

I expected that, were he to be revealed as Islamic, or black, or ex-US military, that this would increase tensions and suspicions.

So he turns to be an ex US military black Islamic.

Ah, well.
