I'm sick of "Twilight" vampires.

My vampires explode and die in sunlight, not look like a glittergasm.

My vampires have no need for school, or vegan eating. My vampires feast upon humans and have no care for mere mortal affairs.

My vampires don't look like pansy emo boy band members. My vampires look like solidified evil.

I'm sick of zombies too. But I have "Left 4 Dead" for with to vent my anger on them.

A bit bored of both, but definitely much, much more bored with vampires.

Even if it wasn't for crap like Lesbian Vampire Killers and me having gotten bored of the whole "Vampires are people too!" movement years ago (I never could stand Anne Rice), at least every second conversation I have with certain people recently seems to consist of:

"BlahblahblahTWLIGHTblahblahblahTWILIGHTTWILIGHTTWILIGHTOMGOMGEdward'ssohawtTWILIGHTTWILIGHTblahblahTWILIGHTblah!"

And I don't even find the books to be well-written. As much as the librarian in me's glad to see that demographic reading... bored now. Shush.
