Timing Is Everything
Nov. 7th, 2002 08:48 amMerf ... another long conversation coming up in SJ. Darn those talky characters! Why can't they just go around hitting each other with clipboards? That would make scripting so much easier!
I would really like to run this year's football strip on the 22nd, except that will probably put it smack into the middle of the conversation, which would be most awkward, conversation-wise, plus it's also the first day of MFF, which means that a certain friend of the feline persuasion who I particularly want to see it, won't, until after the con is over.
Well feh. I guess I'm going to have to run the football strip on the 27th, which is the day before Thanksgiving, and therefore particularly appropriate to football gags. That will give the conversation at least seven strips to get itself worked out. The TCM tribute strip will be an extra on the 16th, and the next cameo (T'Chall or Spiritwalker, prolly) can run on the 29th.
Another argument in favor of more strips per week -- storylines don't take forever to complete! Too bad there are so many excellent arguments against it.
Oh well, this looks like a plan, so I'm going with it. :)
