On Another Topic...

This is pretty bad ... it's only December 2nd, and I'm already sick of Christmas music. The best classical radio station around here, WGMS, played nothing but Xmas, Xmas, Xmas all weekend and again all this morning, and I was climbing the walls. Now normally I like Christmas music, but come on! It's 23 days away, everybody! Pace yourselves for cryin' out loud!

How about a ratio of one Christmas tune for every three non-Christmas tunes played? Or if that's not enough, maybe base it on the number of weeks left until Christmas ... which would make it 1/3 this week, 1/2 next week, and 1/1 the week of Christmas itself. I could take that.

At least nobody's doing Kwanzaa carols. ;P

Oh, and before I forget, WHAT BUSINESS DOES ADAM-FRICKIN'-SANDLER HAVE GETTING AN ANIMATED MOVIE ALL TO HIS STUPID SELF! Talk about offensive images in the media!

Oh good, I'm not the only one. My co-workers were poking at me today because of my comments on the music. :)

Of course, I'm not much one for holidays anymore. Having worked at Hallmark, I can honestly say that I've come to regard most holidays with, if not with hatred, then severe annoyance. Gah :)

I can't stand that moron! When I saw that he was getting a movie, the only word that would effectively pass through my mind was "YAK!" Which is exactly what that preview almost made me do!

Heh... pace yasself. Like play Christmas Carols from February through December. 1:11 in Feb, 1:10 in Mar, 1:9 in Apr... I LOOOVE the old hymns...

Don't get me started!

The merchants, television, and radio stations started playing Christmas music and hauling out the decorations about two weeks after Halloween. I'm so burnt out that I wouldn't even bother decorating, if it weren't for the fact it would break my mate's heart.

Every year, no matter how early I start on my Christmas related errands, they manage to make me feel like I'm behind the eight ball.

Yeah, my stores down here had xmas stuff up *before* Halloween was even past! Grrr! I love xmas, but at least wait until there are no holidays between now and xmas before decorating for xmas. They're so anxious to rush everyone into xmas shopping frenzy. I don't listen to the radio much, so I haven't yet been innundated by xmas carols.

Oh, and Adam Sandler....ick! Ack! Yarg!! I've only ever liked one movie of his, and that was Happy Gilmore, and I mostly liked that one because he got his butt kicked by Bob Barker! That cartoon looks like the worst thing I've seen come out in a long time, and this in a time when we seem to be swamped by a tide of incredibly stupid movies!! I just don't like people who are loud, crude, gross, and obnoxious, and that's his whole schtick. Yuck.
