the_gneechThe fact that the President of the United States just said, "We don't have time for this silliness ... I've got better things to do," frankly warms my heart.
It won't make the birthers any less hostile to reality, but it might be a glass-of-ice-water-down-the-shirt wakeup call to the press, who got thoroughly and specifically thumped in the process. (Not that I expect sanity to last, but it'd be nice to have some for a little while.)
