In all seriousness, this is mighty nice, and if I wasn't just about to drop about that much on printing SJ books, I'd probably get the thing. Unfortunately, the auction ends in six days, so I can't bet on AC sales to recoup the cost in time.

Maybe I'll luck out, and it won't sell this time around. 0=) But I'm definitely gonna start squirreling some money away.

Actually, I figured a lot of it (especially the light up parts) probably came from Radio Shack or similar.

Meanwhile, I personally know two of the guys who built the real things from the movies. One of which is still in his office showroom not two miles from where I'm sitting.




I doubt they'll part with it cheap, but there is always the possibility of their building one custom. More details if you so desire.

The particular one in the auction is based on the 2009 game, rather than the original, which is actually one of the reasons I'm so keen on it.

I certainly don't need an original movie prop -- that's for a true collector! I'd want something I could wear around to cons and such. :)
