A New Arclight Teaser
Aug. 18th, 2011 10:58 pmWell, after some introspection and a fair amount of throwing away bits that didn’t work to make room for new bits that do, I think I may have Arclight Adventures moving in the right direction again. Fortunately, the changes I’ve made don’t require throwing away any of the finished pages!
And because I don’t want you to think I’m all talk and no action, here is a teaser page:

I think I’m ready to get back to work.

Date: 2011-08-19 02:02 pm (UTC)My only suggestion? I always associate steampunk with more muted earthtones. Yeah, I know the entire WORLD can't be like that, but the blue/green things like the awnings and the man's tie seem a touch out of place?

Date: 2011-08-19 02:24 pm (UTC)Have you considered running it through a sepia filter to tone it down and mute it out a bit?
Or even just limiting the color palates to a set of basics? (Thinking the old Doc Savage book covers, and things from that era. More lithography)
