Punting Yet Again *sigh*

Okay, why is it that every friggin' time I take a break from the strip to try to work on other stuff, a ton of pointless-but-unavoidable RL stuff gets all up in my face and prevents me from getting anything accomplished?

Feh.

No site redesign. Strips start up again Monday anyhow.

I am annoyed.

I will probably not be online much for the rest of the week, either; I am in a grumpy mood and am going to go play hermit for a while until it passes.

The good news is, it looks like they may have the sniper. Let's hope!

The Auction

I wonder if I should have used "normal" bidding instead of "proxy." The Marble Halls pic has gone up to $31 and is sitting there. It may also just be that people aren't as interested in it as I thought they would be.

I personally prefer proxy bidding myself; I don't enjoy the haggling process the way some others might. If there's something I want, I know how much it's worth, and I'm not going to dicker about it beyond that point ... so I like to just put that in and be told in a few days whether I won or not.

Oh well, the auction is not modifiable after the fact, so I can't change it to "normal" at this stage; I guess I'll just chalk it up as a learning experience and move on.

Actually, That Cheered Me Up Immensely

There's something just viscerally satisfying about imagining the cops sneaking up to the car at 3 a.m., where Psycho and Psycho, Jr. were snoozing their evil night away, knocking on the window, and with 40 or so police machine guns and/or shotguns staring down their faces, the arresting officer saying, "Gotcha."

It probably didn't happen that way, of course, but it pleases me to imagine that it did. :)

The Face Is Familiar, But I Can't Quite Remember My Name

I had something interesting to say about my artwork, furry in general, and Yerf ... but I forgot what it was.

I imagine that's just as well, 'cause I've got to go to my counselor appt. in a few minutes, and given the week I've had, that's probably a good thing.

Oh well, maybe I'll remember when I get back.

Or not.

Or whatever.
