Ann Romney Quote Hoax

If you see an outrageous quote "from Ann Romney" floating around that claims she said women shouldn't get equal pay to men because they haven't been in the workforce as long (and other ridiculousness), it's a hoax. It was created by "freewoodpost.com" which claims to be a satire site but is basically a pack of lies.

No fan of Romney here, but let's stick to the facts, please. Spreading this kind of stuff doesn't help anyone.

*Sigh* Yet another example of idiocy in the political arena, as well. Honestly, who cares what the opinions of the wife of a presidential candidate are - as long as there is little likelihood of said wife interfering in the political process? And honestly, the last time the woman was active in politics was in 1977, when she ran for some town council position. Her public presence since has been limited to responding when the press basically ambushed her. It's not like she's Hillary Clinton, for crying out loud.

Seriously, people, as a potential First Lady, she's less important - and rates less press time and attention - than the Vice Presidential candidate. Come on, people - let's actually focus on candidates.

Exactly. And even if she WERE relevant to the debate, crucify her for something she ACTUALLY SAID. Really, even expert politicians occasionally say something moronic enough to be worth mocking.
