There are two of us in this house. I run the dishwasher daily, and yet it is ALWAYS FULL.

We had steaks Friday night. We went out to dinner last night. WHY WERE THERE SIX STEAK KNIVES IN THE SINK?

As far as I can tell, there are strange, kitchen-using aliens sneaking into our house and dirtying all our dishes at night.

I'm thinking of hiring security guards.

I've been eating celery

Did you remember to spay and neuter your dishes and utensils?

Seriously?? We usually run it about every three days. I can't fathom my water bill if I ran it every day.

Mmm...security guards. Wait, what, did you say something? XD

It's probably one of those "bachelor" style models, only holds 8 plates and cups/glasses.

Oh. Did I forget to mention I'd be teleporting over to borrow the dishwasher?

Can you make sure you hire guards who are good for bouncing plot ideas off?

That does sound rather odd! I usually wash dishes Immediately since I really dread touching the caked on greasy ecch if they are left to sit any amount of time at all, not to mention being more difficult to clean the longer they congeal, too....

Dishwasher, don't have to touch anything after you put them in. Plus it runs at a temperature of 160F , hotter than you would be putting your hands into in the sink. A lot of people will rinse off the really greasy stuff before putting the dishes in.

Indeed... when it's quite a few dining together, often I'll use the dishwasher, but that doesn't happen too much. Then waiting two hours for the thing to finish is quite a haul as well. But yes, probably any more than 8 or 10 dishes and I do consider it... but most of the time it's just 2 or 3.
The case could also be argued to just put those 2 or 3 in the dishwasher every time, and then do one dishwasher load with the accumulation once a week... but that's a tad disgusting, heh, and it has led to ants the times we've done that...

Hire guards - have them steak-out the kitchen.

I almost never post or comment but I'm becoming a talented lurk-er. Consider yourself lurked.

Think of you frequently - Hi to your lady and our mutual friends - things pretty much the same as always here. Be good - Anne
