• Wed, 21:28: Came home from cat rescue night through pouring rain to discover new tablet had been delivered. It’s even more hugerer than my last one. O.o
• Wed, 21:29: Trying it out now, not sure what I think yet. Definitely had to turn off “touch” functions to keep it from being helpful all over the place.
• Wed, 21:31: Currently have nowhere to put mouse. Tablet input is nice and smooth so far, but not doing anything heavy-duty yet.
• Wed, 21:32: The dealbreaker/sealer will be: 1) does it keep my mappings on reboot (old one doesn’t), and 2) can it cope with streaming.
• Wed, 21:33: Was seriously tempted to buy Yiynova’s Cintiq-clone instead, but that would have been twice the price.
• Wed, 21:33: If this one disappoints, it will go back and that one might get a try anyway. We’ll see.

• Wed, 22:04: On the other hand, having video going on the other monitor still blows responsiveness all to hell, which means no streaming (still).
• Wed, 22:05: I’m guessing that may be a limitation of the hardware/OS on this computer, rather than the tablet.
• Wed, 22:06: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Macbook Pro running OS 10.9.3 w/ 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2014 MB video card.
• Wed, 22:07: …most of which is gibberish to me. But I’m told it should be a fairly beefy graphics machine.
• Wed, 22:33: Of course, streaming is a “nice to have.” Just being able to draw without having to reset the tablet every time is core functionality.
• Wed, 22:34: But I don’t have to decide either way about keeping it tonight. I’ll play with it tomorrow and see how I feel by the end of the day.
• Wed, 22:35: Right now I’m afraid it may be too big for me to use comfortably.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2014 MB video card <<< Make sure video drivers are up to date. NVIDIA is notorious for doing a LOT of updates. Then updates to the updates. (Which is why I have an AMD card :) )
