GET READY FOR RETURN TO THE BATCAVE: THE MISADVENTURES OF ADAM AND BURT!

CBS announces that the reunion TV movie that we've all been waiting for will be shown Sunday, March 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network!

Adam West and Burt Ward will star in this comedy adventure, where they stumble upon a diabolical plot to steal the original Batmobile from a charity benefit --while trying to unravel the details and find the Batmobile, West and Ward flashback to the tumultuous times of their 60s television series to reveal the behind-the-scenes story of the creation of a television classic, from their on-the-set explosions to their wild real- life encounters with fans. We'll also see Frank Gorshin, Lee Meriwether and Julie Newmar!

I saw Adam, Lee, and Frank on a recent Nick-at-Nite Batman marathon; they're all older than methuselah, but they still know how to have a good time. :)

I believe the first Batmobile was the Lincoln Futura Showcar. Sure looked like a 1958 Thunderbird though, didn't it? :)

If I am not mistaken, the bat mobile was based off of the 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car.
