Back From AC!
Jul. 20th, 2003 11:25 pmToo much to go into detail about here; suffice to say I had a great time, saw lots of terrific people I don't get to see nearly often enough, drew a ton of sketches and badges and such, and scored some really neat loot! Besides some very nice prints by Mark Rogers, J. Willard, and Wookiee, I also got the lion's share of Terrie Smith's original artwork from Furry Pirates -- Arrr! ;)
I also got to meet a bunch of cool artists, such as Jen Sing (Toonapalooza), Derek Dasenbrock (is that spelled right?), and Marci McAdams. Big ol' thanks to Vince for introducing me to them ... I've been wanting to meet more artists! I also finally got to meet Graveyard Greg in person -- and if you've ever hung out with him online, you'll be happy to know that he's EXACTLY like that in real life!
I'll let Kerry post about the incredible job she did as Merchandise Maven (holy crap we sold a bunch of stuff) whenever she feels up to it -- but let me just say that she is very very good at what she does!
Another cameo was won, this time for $200. PunkTiger also beat me out ... again ... for Vince's auction piece (*cry*). I'm gonna sulk now. (*sniff*)
Oh! Speaking of Vince's auction piece, Spiked Punch (the first cameo winner, if you'll recall) commissioned Vince to do a picture of Spiked together with my rarely-seen furry persona! :o That about made me hit the floor! And yes, I'll be posting that when I get a chance. Thank you, Spiked! You so totally rule. :)
Anyway, I'm sure there's more, but I need to hit the hay. G'nite, everyone, and have a wonderful tomorrow!

Date: 2003-07-21 06:35 pm (UTC)For all the attitude and ribbing I may have given you, the last thing on God's green earth I wanted to do was hurt you.
If we're at the same con and one of Vince's pieces come up for auction, I will refrain from bidding on it out of respect for you and a promise to Mamallamadevil.
Written by my hand this day the 21st of July, AD 2003.
Peace;

Seriously, it's okay. I don't want you to think I'm really upset at you.
