Er ... no, I haven't heard anything like that. However, I do know that Mel Gibson has had his eye on The Prisoner for many years now; after working with Patrick McGoohan on Braveheart, they got mired in development heck.
I've never actually seen the Simpsons episode, just heard about it. However, in The Prisoner episode "The Chimes of Big Ben," somebody shot Rover twice with a high-powered rifle and the bullets just sorta lodged there. Rover kept on coming.
My first experience with the prisoner was in your comic... I was QUITE confused when I was reading those strips... it all came together this summer however, when some ep's came on tv!
Ahh, yes. I remember that story line quite fondly. Not only did Arden get another cameo (without me having to bid a small fortune at a convention :) but it was also when I took over coloring the strip for you.
I can't believe how long it's been. Time sure does fly when you're having fun. Here's to hoping it lasts for many more years.

For this particular post, I went out and found Prisoner pics that were close to stuff I'd drawn, rather than the other way around! :)
