My abductors and glutes are sore as all get-out today. I blame trying to lunge lower into "dragon dips into the ocean" last night.

PS: Some of my fellow students are doing something very close to "dragon dips", in the front row. BTW, the guy in the red shirt with glasses is my Sifu, and the monk in the middle is DaSifu, Sifu's teacher. In case, y'know, you were wondering.

That picture was taken at a seminar where DaSifu came from Texas to give two days of intensive training. In order to participate, the cost was something like $100, which I didn't have to invest at the time, and I was still very much a beginner. I wasn't good enough yet for DaSifu's training to be worth the cost.

I want to have at least belt, er, under my belt, before I come to DaSifu's attention.
