I just thought of how to begin the next session of my D&D game, whenever we get a chance to play again. And it's eeeeeevil. It makes perfect sense given the plot so far ... but it's big and dangerous.

Oh well, adventuring is a dangerous profession ... and poking your nose into sinister plots doesn't help matters.

"Poking your nose into sinister plots doesn't help matters."

Sometimes, my friend, you don't have a choice.

Particularly not if you're a hero-type. :) -TG

Of course adventuring is a dangerous job. But, look at all the benefits!

You can set your own time schedule.
You can be poor and downtrodden one week, and the next, living like a King.
Magic can help you get a free room at the local inn.
And you can explore the biology of various monsters as you cleeve them in twain!

Everyone should be an adventurer.
Hrm. Knowing me though, I'd probably be that guy at the bar that says "The temple to the north is full of traps." Or maybe I could just wander around the edge of town saying "Welcome to Jacksonville." ;)

*looks shocked* Did you just say "big and dangerous?" *shudder* I may not want to play then.

Dragor has one question though; By big and dangerous, do you mean fun to fight?

I doubt "fun" will be on the list of adjectives used to describe it. Given the way I suspect it will go, Jaer and Kyriela will probably be the most useful, assuming they survive the first round. -TG

It's even worse for me as I am playing in his game. He's cruel that way. -Friskm

I have suspicions of the stuff you added to, to fit your original campaign and that bothers me too. -Frisk
