AnthroCon Notes

Thanks to susandeer and her henchmen, the AnthroCon schedule is up. Turns out I've got two panels, one on Friday, one on Saturday*. I knew about the dynamic poses panel -- that one was my idea; apparently I'm also on the Webcomics panel, which I didn't know until graveyardgreg told me. (Or if I knew, I forgot!) Still, that's cool. :)

This weekend I need to get the final preps for the dynamic pose panel done, and in particular I need to finish putting the panel handouts together and working up some kind of an outline, even if it's just a rough one. It's a big topic, and easy to get lost in.

Gonna be busy, busy, busy! Thank goodness I have Monday off.

I suspect something caused the battery to short across its terminals and self discharge, thus heating up too much and too fast.

In other odd things exploding news, a while back a little girl was injured when a freaking JAWBREAKER candy exploded. It had been in the sun (perhaps on a dashboard?) or something... they think it was steam pressure inside the candy. She got burns from it.

Freaky.

They aren't as nice as the fancy pre-con badges, but they're not as expensive, either. ;)

Yeah but American mobile phones (or cell phones as you call them) arent as developed as other countries, same with the whole mobile networks over there. I mean you still have those old "pull out" arials and old style phones, so hopefully as you progress, these problems should iron out.

Well, it sounds like something I would say -- I probably just forgot. :) It's not a problem at all, I love doing panels! I just didn't know that you'd actually put me on it.
