I brought work home yesterday, figuring that I'd work from home today to avoid spreading my cold to everyone in the office, and also so I could periodically stop and rest up.

Well now, my old friends the erector spinae are up to their old tricks; I'm not collapsed on the floor in agony like I have been in the past, but the warning signs are all there. So I'm spending today giving my back copious dosages of ice and Advil to preempt any potential disasters.

I wonder if I could sell this P.O.S. body on Ebay and put the funds toward a better model?

Y'know, my dad drilled me for hours and hours for my AP English vocabulary tests when I was in high school, and I hated every minute of it. Later in life, when I used "demonstrative" in conversation, he got this offended look on his face and said, "Where'd you learn them $20 words?"

I wanted to smack him!

If only that were possible. We could get shiny new bodies every few years and probably live for centuries. But the well-toned models with no health problems would probably be unaffordable anyway so it's just as well we can't do that.

You're STILL sick from the con???

Honestly, if your back is that touchy, are you sure you think you can pick me up? ^ ^;; I thought that's the area first to go in lifting.

Well no, I probably couldn't do it right NOW ... but when I'm in proper working order I could do it with one arm!

The Mecha-Gneech ? Gneech 2.0 ?

Hehehe, Yes, I could see it... you won't have to worry about which markers to pack for cons as they all store conveniently in your left arm... a red light glows in the middle of your chest as you update your live journal manually... and of course *transformer sounds* Lion Form !

Sorry you're under the weather and wearing out at the same time!

If you can sell the POS body on eBay in order to buy a new one, let me know. Mine has decided it no longer has a use for lung capacity.

I warned you to get the extended warranty.
Well let's hope this is the last illness/injury you get for a while. We need a healthy Gneech to keep us in our daily dosage of SJ.

Alas, the insurance company has decided not to cover my chiropractic any more, the scumbags. :P

Thanks for the sympathy nonetheless! :)
