Stupid Filesize Limits!

The original version of this icon had about 9 more images, including some from the animated series. But there was no way to squeeze all of that into LJ's 40k limit.

The animated series had the same writers, the same cast, and so forth ... it was pretty much an extension of the original series. If you're going to give them grief for having 30-minute episodes instead of 60, take it to NBC, 'cause the writers did their best with what the format that was shoved down their throats. Some of the animated series was better than a few of those awful third season live action episodes, even with their canvas chopped in half.
