Yeah, it was a pretty funny rant, but I think I'll take it down after all. When somebody like "2 the Ranting Griffon" rants, they get accolades and applause, but when I rant I get called rude names and/or hurt looks from people I wasn't even talking about.

So *yank* down it goes.

Who would complain about your rant? That's stupid! I read it and it was not offensive in any way shape or form. As a matter of fact, you could take Virgina Drivers out of it and insert Nebraska Drivers (or any other state, probably) and the rant would STILL be valid!

All the people who complained need to find something more productive to do with their lives!

You are entitled to an opinion and if they want to be a divvy and just whinge before ascertaining that you were talking about them or not just go ahead and let them be stoopid with a captital "DUHHHHHH!"

So flick a fat ol' finger at them! What is LJ but a tool for speaking your mind. As long as you were not advocating child rape or the benefits of religious tutelage over actual scientific fact (or similiar) then rant away!

You know, you really need to learn when to tell people to STFU! 2 isn't the only person in the world who is allowed to rant. In fact, he's not the first person to get semi-famous doing it.

I think I know what the problem is John, as I have the sameone.

We are known for our easy, laid back style.

The problem occurs when you or I get angry people say, "That can't be John (Don)! I wonder what is wrong."

They expect us to stay happy and smiling all the time and can't, don't or wont, understand that we do have other feelings.

So when we do go off on a rant, those self same peopole think that we're angry at them, and aren.t making a statement in general.

That's why sometimes I preface my rants with "This does not apply to anyone here" or equivilant.

That's why Leona could get away with, and @ can also. They are known for their "angry" personalities and people expect to rant at a drop of a hat.

Us? Well, let's say people don't like us to stray to from the norm. :=/
