The thing about T&T, is that its biggest strength is also its biggest weakness, namely that the numbers and rules are so very on-the-fly. I can take a D&D module written for just about any level for instance and, by assigning the appropriate MRs, make it a playable adventure for T&T. Beholders are designed to be high-level baddies, for instance? Well just give that beholder a MR of 50 and a 1st level T&T group just might be able to take it on.
On the other hand, character building is all very on-the-fly, too, which means that it's hard to develop your character's abilities ... and nifty special gimmicks (e.g., barbarian rage)? Ain't no such thing, unless you can convince the GM to just let you have it.
But then, T&T isn't about campaigns, it's about dungeon crawling.
I was thinking of some old maps I had that had interesting details to them that would be cool to run again as a good, old fashioned dungeon crawl and T&T would be a good, fast way to prep it and play it. -Frisk
