I first read the title as "On Dark Dirty Thoughts" and was puzzled -- then more puzzled by his first thought, which was not dark nor dirty at all. In fact, it was self-evidently true.

Then I went back and looked at the title again.

Oh.

Y'know, skimming is not quite the same as reading. ];-)

Being in IT for a living, I've had to learn how to skim instead of read. There are just too many pages to read otherwise. So now, when I read for recreation, I have to remind myself to slow down so I don't miss anything!
