Date: 2006-02-10 03:38 am (UTC)If you really want to track your changes, this is the best method, since with the workouts you are adding muscle mass, and muscles weigh more than fat.
Measure your waist, arms, neck, hips and thighs. Record those numbers, and then measure again in a week. This will tell you where you are at and if you are getting anywhere.
Not to mention, will let us know what is happening as well...*grin*
It's the inches that count, not the numbers on the scale!

Date: 2006-02-10 06:44 pm (UTC)I did this when on a weight loss regimen, didn't think I was getting anywhere since the scale wasn't really changing. Measured, then waited a week and measured again, lost an average of 1 to 3 inches all over, so progress was being made, despite the scale.
So just an an experiment, give it a shot.
