Date: 2008-04-12 08:20 pm (UTC)For what it's worth though, I really liked Rose, she wasn't a sit on the sidelines and wait for the Doctor to fix it type. Whereas most of his past sidekicks did. I liked Martha for the same reason, they were true partners, working with him to fix the problems, not just along for the ride, or having to always be rescued. Sure they have had to be rescued a few times, but they in turn have also rescued the Doctor.
